Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Layla Dessin found herself in a PA shelter pregnant and alone. EHR rescued her, brought her to NJ, and got her into foster where she gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies. All have since been adopted, except for poor Layla.... Layla finds herself alone yet again, always the last pick... She is a super intelligent, fun, pretty gal weighing in at about 65 pounds. Layla loves other dogs, and bonds with her owner quickly! Knowing what she went through, it is completely understandable that she is scared of new people. A few treats and a couple minutes and she is ready to be your friend! We recommend a slower paced home for Layla (not too many visitors).
