Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). This big, soft love bug has stolen the hearts of our volunteers. She is somewhat shy but will easily warm up to you. She is very affectionate. She is a beautiful girl with a soft coat, and the sweetest face. When Marigold is in her kennel, she'll squish herself right up against the gate just hoping for an ear scratch or a neck rub. She is very gentle and loves belly rubs. Marigold's story breaks our hearts a little. She was dumped on a dead-end country road — but she didn't give up. She found her way to a caring farmhouse and eventually made it to us. Important: Marigold does best as the only female dog in the home.
