Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Talk to me, Goose. Goose loves long walks on the beach (or down the street) and even more he loves long naps afterwards - maybe after some brunch, 'cause Goose LOVES socializing with people. His love for humans is only equaled by his love for blankets and snuggles on the couch with a PSL and Hocus Pocus. This boy is not a morning person and will gladly sleep in with you. Goose is an easy-going dude who gets along well with other dogs his size and enjoys some play time. He hasn't really been around small dogs. We do know that Goose is NOT a cat person. Dogs only please, who needs those snooty little felines around anyway. Ya boy Goose is chill enough to kick it in an apartment, he doesn't bark much and pretty much just wants to nap and hang out. Goose has some skin issues and requires a little TLC with that, but no prescriptions. He's not a huge fan of car rides, but is down to go with his person. Listen, we don't know how else to tell you, he was made for the sheets, not the streets. He is an all-around sweet baby and is crate trained, potty trained and leash trained and just waiting for his forever home so he can live the couch-potato life he's always wanted.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
