Dog Breed: Husky / Mixed (medium coat). It's so easy to picture Roxie in your life... stretched out on your couch, softly snoring after a good zoomie burst, or greeting you at the door with her gentle tail wags. Shes truly that dog - the absolute perfect companion who just fits in flawlessly. This sweet 5-year-old girl used to be a stray mama on the streets of Dallas, but today she is thriving in her Upstate NY foster home! At 37% Husky and 100% lovebug, shes the ultimate mix of playful energy and calm companionship. She loves other dogs, is wonderful with kids, and curls up beside you like the worlds coziest weighted blanket. (Roxie just asks for a cat-free home! ) Roxie spent her early life taking care of everyone else, and now its her turn to be pampered. All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment. A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required. Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.
