Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Catahoula Leopard Dog (short coat). not HW tested yet; not spayed Finder found dog on Claiborne Avenue, skinny and pregnant, on April 28, 2024. She had five pups, one stillborn and 1 that finder will keep. Other three pups are surrendered to TPR plus the mother dog, Reba. Puppies are named Mr. Fish. Lemmy and Bowie. Lemmy was subsequently transferred to Fighting Chance Rescue (Nicole Pettinga 985-377-5961) Reba is more timid with men than women.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
