AC - Gumbo aka Gumby - Borador Male Dog For Adoption in Brewster, New York, USA

Dog Breed: Border Collie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed.

*Name: Gumbo *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 61 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Gumby! Gumby is a bright, athletic pup with all the best traits of his border collie roots—an active mind, a love for movement, and endless potential to be your ultimate adventure buddy. This handsome boy isn’t just energy—he’s smart, too. Gumby earns an A++ in training and already knows an impressive list of commands, including heel, sit, stay, down, touch, come, and even “go to bed.” He’s completed SNARR’s training program, so he’s coming to you with a strong foundation and ready to keep learning. Right now, Gumby spends his days at the Adoption Center, enjoying playgroups with his dog friends and occasional outings with volunteers. But what he really deserves is a home of his own—one where he can stretch his legs, engage his mind, and truly thrive. Gumby would do best in a quiet adult only home with a fenced yard, where he can safely burn off his energy and settle into a routine. He’s looking for a patient, supportive adopter who understands that young, intelligent dogs need both structure and love. In return, Gumby promises a lifetime of loyalty, affection, and happy tail wags. He’s the kind of dog who will be right by your side—whether you’re out on a hike or relaxing at home. If you’re ready for an active, devoted companion to share your life with, Gumby might just be your perfect match.
