Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Contact the foster at, kpressley1022gmail Gracie is generally easy to leash and walk! Gracie knows âsitâ and she âlaysâ; she is not mouthy or jumpy (but she does get excited for treats); treat motivated and took them gently; playful in the yard - enjoyed a round of fetch; a gentle, sweet demeanor and nice energy level! She was a very good walker and took treats gently. Good around other people. She is a gentle cuddle bear who loves to snuggle. She listens to commands well. Loves to play tug of war. She is house broken l. Loved walks. Loves to play with balls. We really enjoyed having her and hope she finds a family to adopt her and we enjoyed her. She also thinks she is a 70 pound lap dog!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
