Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Hi, my name is Charlie Blue, and, as you can see, I’m very good natured. What other dog would let you dress them up like a squirrel? In fact, my friends at the shelter dress me up in all kinds of costumes and I just give them a big kiss when the photo shoots are done. Frankly, I love the attention. My day is only complete once I’ve curled up in someone’s lap, had lot’s of belly rubs, and an ear scratch or two. I’m not lazy though, I love to chase tennis balls. You will need two though as I haven’t mastered the concept of “drop”. I’m good natured, have tons of personality, and would love to share my life with you. If you are looking for a fun loving, loving gal then call the shelter and ask for Charlie Blue! Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
