I'm a 2-year-old, 60 lb herding dog, which means I feel big, love big, and need a life with structure, space, and someone who understands active, intelligent dogs like me. Right now, I’m not getting enough room or exercise to just be a dog. When I finally get let out, I start off a little frantic—but give me a bit of time to run it out, and I settle into my real self: affectionate, loyal, and deeply attached to my person. I can be shy when we first meet, but once I trust you, I’m all in. I know my basics (sit, stay, down, heel), and I actually feel better when I have a confident leader to give guidance—it helps me feel safe.
