He was found as a stray in South Carolina alongside his three littermates, and together they made the journey north to New York in search of better days. One by one, his siblings found their forever homes… and somehow Ripple is still waiting — through no fault of his own. Now, Ripple is currently staying at our shelter in Brewster, New York, dreaming of a home to finally call his own. At 1 year old, Ripple has his whole life ahead of him. He’s smart, gentle, and affectionate, with a playful streak that keeps everyone smiling. He loves using his brain, enjoys learning, is a dream to train, and thrives when given mental enrichment and positive interaction. He does well with other dogs who match his size and play style, and he doesn’t seem to mind cats.
