Cocoa - Cross Post - Ibizan Hound-Unknown Mix Female Dog For Adoption in Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Dog Breed: Ibizan Hound / Terrier / Mixed.

Foster Homes Needed! Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? .muttloverescue/foster.html ***************** COURTESY POST This dog is listed as a courtesy for another rescue. Mutt Love wants to help others in need. Meet Cocoa, a 9-year old Ibizan Hound/Terrier mix. Cocoa is losing her home and family after joining them when she was 14-weeks old. Cocoa gets along with other dogs and the staff where she has boarded over the years just love her. She is what we call a WYSIWYG dog - What You See Is What You Get. She is in her senior years and has her routine. She could stand lose a few pounds but loves her treats. Cocoa has seasonal skin allergies and is on a mild anti-anxiety medication. Otherwise, she is in pretty good shape for a gal her age. With her initial "get off my lawn" vibe, it will take some time for Cocoa to fall in love. If you are willing to give her a chance, you will have a friend for life! Cocoa would do best in a quiet home without children and a minimum number of people visiting. She should be fine if it is a multi-dog family. We do not know how she will do with cats. **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at .muttloverescue/application.html OR write to adoptmuttloverescue.
