Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Adoption Fee: 150. Hi, I’m Tito! I’m a dog with a big personality — full of energy, charm, and wiggles! When I meet new people or pups, I don’t just wag my tail — my whole body wiggles with joy! I love playing with all the dogs in my foster home (and any I meet on walks, too). My foster mom says I’m “one of a kind,” and I have to agree! I might be a little chatty sometimes, but that’s just my way of letting you know what’s on my mind. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion who brings smiles everywhere he goes, I’m your guy! Tito is winning hearts wherever he goes. His adoption fee is sponsored by the Burns family in loving memory of their sweet Annie Ready to meet me? Fill out an adoption application here: savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups/info/adoption

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
