He is a true Velcro dog who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, and, if there’s a blanket available, turn himself into the world’s cutest blanket burrito. Bubba has a fun, goofy side too. He loves carrying his toys around, spinning happy circles, lounging in the sunshine, chasing leaves, and greeting his favorite people with plenty of enthusiasm and an immediate request for belly rubs. What Makes Bubba Special Professionally trained! Bubba has completed a board-and-train program and has been working on his manners, leash skills, and being the best companion he can be. A people dog through and through. He bonds closely with his humans and loves being part of whatever they’re doing. Dog friends can absolutely be an option. Bubba tends to do best with female dogs and canine companions with a more easygoing play style. He can be an enthusiastic player, so a dog who isn't looking to constantly wrestle or compete for the spotlight may be his best match. As always, we would make sure any potential canine siblings are a good fit through proper introductions. Great with kids. Bubba is gentle, loving, and has done well with children of all ages. Champion snuggler. Couch time is serious business, and Bubba is more than happy to help keep you warm. Bubba can be a little unsure in big crowds, and thunderstorms aren't exactly on his list of favorite things. A ThunderVest, a comfortable safe space, and reassurance from his people help him through the scary stuff. Bubba Needs a Foster or Adopter Bubba is currently looking for either a foster home in the Raleigh-Durham area or, even better, the family who will make him theirs for good. He's affectionate, goofy, professionally trained, and incredibly devoted to his people. What Bubba really needs now is the chance to show someone just how wonderful life can be with a loyal little shadow following them around.
