Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed. I’m looking for someone who understands dogs like me—someone experienced and willing to invest a little time in training. I’m very smart and eager to learn, and with patience and consistency, I know I’ll make you incredibly happy. I would do best in a home with no other animals or children, where I can have all the attention and structure I need to thrive. I also need a securely fenced yard so I can stay active and burn off my energy—both physically and mentally. Keeping my brain busy is just as important as exercise for me! I do have hip dysplasia, but my vet has me on a management plan that keeps me comfortable. What I really need now is a home where I can rest on softer surfaces and live a more comfortable life than the shelter can provide.
