Peanut - Mutt Male Dog For Adoption in Spring Lake, New Jersey, USA

Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat).

This sweet boy is Peanut. He appears to be a hound mix. He is about 4 yrs old, and weighs 45 lbs. Peanut is a special little guy. He’s extremely friendly, loving and affectionate, but he is also very anxious. Peanut has been in a foster home for a while and his foster parents absolutely adore him. He’s housebroken, and well behaved in the home. He’s most comfortable when he is around his people, and would love to live in a quiet home where someone is around most of the time. He has been going for training to build his confidence and help with his anxiety and reactivity in certain situations. He has made good progress, but will need an adopter that will continue to work with him to reinforce his training. Peanut is a good mix of playful and snuggly. Once he gets some energy out, he’s the perfect couch buddy! Peanut will not do well in an apartment type setting. He needs a yard with a fully enclosed solid fence. He’s not big fan of the car and prefers to spend his days close to home. While he needs to be the only dog in the home, he promises to give you all the doggy love you’ll need. Peanut is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines If you think you can provide Peanut with the kind of home he needs, please fill out an application on our website at Rescueridge. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet. Peanut is located in Monmouth County, NJ
