She was born right here in our rescue after we took in her pregnant mom from a family who sadly lost their home and could no longer care for their dogs. Junebug weighs about 9 pounds and may be a bit shy at first, so she’ll need a patient and understanding family willing to give her time to feel safe. Once she warms up, her personality shines! She loves to play, zoom around like a little wind-up toy, and she has a special love for water—you’ll often find her happily splashing in the doggie pool. Junebug gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her a great addition to a multi-pet home. She’s now ready to find a loving family who will give her the time, care, and forever home she deserves. Junebug is ready to meet her happily ever after! Junebug's adoption fee is $200 We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
