Cooper - Dachshund-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Mountain View, Missouri, USA

Dog Breed: Dachshund / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat).

Cooper has had an interesting life. He was found as a stray and sent to a shelter, then adopted. His adopter was unable to manage him and so Cooper came into rescue. He is a sweet boy once he gets to know you, but can be aggressive towards strangers so will need an experienced adopter. He is not house or leash trained, so will need work on both of those. Because of his tendency to snap if frightened, he should have an adult-only home. He has not been cat tested. He appears to be a dachshund mixed with some sort of terrier (or possibly a wire-haired dachshund, but would need DNA testing to confirm.) The vet estimates him at 6-12 months old. He has been microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated, and dosed with Nexgard Plus for flea, tick and intestinal worms and heartworm prevention. He weighs 20 pounds. His adoption fee is $150.00 If you would like to adopt Cooper, email me at thistle88centurytel and request an application.
