Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 10/2018 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: short Size: medium Color(s): grey / white Description: Hi, I'm Bubba, a loving and friendly Pit Bull X who's looking for my forever family! I may be a man of mystery when it comes to my past, but one thing's for sure - I adore people and will be your loyal companion through thick and thin. Who wouldn't want to come home to be greeted by this handsome smiling face. I'm a mellow and friendly guy who is a total catch. I have a heart of gold and a temperament to match and I'm sure to bring joy and happiness to your home. I'm a real charmer too who enjoys the simple pleasures in life - like a good petting session, leisurely walks, and the occasional nap (who doesn't?). I'm currently learning to master the 'sit' command, and I'm great with children, making me the perfect addition to a family. I've encountered other dogs on walks and I do great with them. I've also seen cats on my walks and I seem to just want to play with them too. Could you be the one to give sweet little me the home I deserve? Please fill out an online application to meet me!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
