Dog Breed: Dachshund / Mixed. Meet Tucker! Tucker is a sweet, cuddly old man who loves being close to his person — sleeping next to you, following you around, and soaking up attention. He gets along with most dogs, isn’t fazed by bigger dogs, and is happiest just hanging out with his people. He’s on medication and CBD oil for doggy dementia, which has made a big difference — he’s calmer, sleeps through most nights, and seems happier and more alert than when he first arrived. Like many seniors, he still has occasional accidents and moments of restlessness where he needs a little extra patience. Tucker would do best with someone who has a soft spot for senior dogs. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants a cozy place to spend his golden years. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tucker is currently being fostered in South Carolina.
