Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300. Meet Rubble! Rubble is a tank of a dog - so large breed experience preferred. Rubble was abandoned by his previous owner. He came in with some skin issues, fear, and anxiety. He is is making great progress both with his physical health and training since becoming a Diamond. Rubble is a giant puppy with lots of energy. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up he thinks everyone is his own personal snuggle bug. Rubble still needs a lot of training and confidence building. A perfect home would include no children under ten (10) years old, and someone who is calm and patient, as well as ready to put a lot of time into training and provide him adequate exercise. Rubble is highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze! He is very vocal when he is not getting attention- something being worked on, however some separation anxiety could creep up in a home environment. Rubble is not reactive to other dogs and seems to enjoy being around other dogs. However, he's a bit socially awkward when trying to play and his size/power could be overwhelming for some other dogs. Slow intros and down time will likely help with acclimating him with thr resident dog.
