He’s playful and happy without being overwhelming, always up for a game of fetch or time outside, and just as content to relax nearby when the day slows down. In foster, he’s been wonderful with an elementary-aged child and has naturally embraced family life. He’s gentle, affectionate, and enjoys being included in whatever is going on — whether that’s heading out for an adventure or spending a quiet evening at home. He forms strong bonds and genuinely likes being close to his people. Daniel does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he’s secure enough in himself to thrive as the only dog in the home, too. He appreciates social time, but he doesn’t depend on it. His confidence comes from connection, not from needing a canine anchor. He’s crate trained and doing beautifully with potty training. He responds thoughtfully to guidance and settles into routine with ease. The more time you spend with him, the more you see just how naturally good he is. Daniel came to SNARR from an overcrowded rural Georgia shelter where his time was running short. That chapter is behind him now.
