Pepper may be the smaller of her litter, but she has enough sass and heart to fill a room! This beautiful girl is looking for a gentle leader to help her shine. Spunky & Energetic: Pepper is the "boss" of the playground! She is energetic, playful, and isn't afraid to use her cute puppy voice to tell you exactly what she wants. A Total Lovebug: Once she’s played her heart out, she melts into a puddle of affection. Pick her up, and she’ll immediately snuggle in to give you endless puppy kisses. Manners in Progress: Pepper is a quick study! In just a few days, she has made amazing progress with crate training. She needs a patient adopter who can stay on top of her potty schedule, as her smaller size means she needs more frequent breaks than the big guys. Sensitive Soul: Pepper is a "delicate flower" regarding the cold—she loves a quick snow-run but her paws get chilly fast! She can also be a little shy with fast movements or loud noises, so she’s looking for a family that understands the importance of a gentle, soft-spoken approach. Ideal Home: A reasonably calm household (children should be gentle/older) where she can receive plenty of positive reinforcement and cozy blankets to keep her warm. The Sheprador, a popular crossbreed resulting from the union of a German Shepherd Dog and a Labrador Retriever, embodies many desirable traits from both parent breeds. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the intelligence of the German Shepherd with the Labrador's friendly disposition, these dogs typically boast a medium to large build with a dense, weather-resistant coat that can range in color. Physically, they often exhibit the Shepherd’s strong bone structure and the Lab’s kind eyes. Temperamentally, Shepradors are generally intelligent, loyal, and trainable, making them excellent companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and do best in homes with a yard, as their energy levels make apartment living challenging without significant daily exercise. While generally healthy, potential health considerations include hip and elbow dysplasia, common to both parent breeds, and eye conditions. Early socialization and consistent training are key to fostering a well-adjusted Sheprador.
