Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog. Adoption Event Schedule Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations: 2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express 3rd Saturday, Modesto - Strand Hardware Store 4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express Please visit the GCGSR Rescue Page for specific address information. All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once. Annie is about 9 weeks old and is the cutest thing with a curly, floppy tail. She and her sister were found out in a rural area, huddling together. A good Samaritan took them in, but couldn't find an owner. Annie loves other dogs and people! She tries to love the cats in her foster home, but they have other ideas. She is the typical puppy - zoomies around the living room one minute, snoozing the next. She isn't fond of the crate yet, but will catch on with a little patience. She is learning housebreaking and other house manners. Annie is a level 2 Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state. We have special Requirements for Adopting a Puppy and a separate Puppy Questionnaire that must be completed on puppies.
