ADOPTION PROCESS Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek). This sweet girl has had a rough life but has been given a 2nd chance by 2nd Chance Dog Rescue! Rosie was saved at the end of November 2025 from the MCACC e-list. She does have some medical issues which is why we are looking for a Forever Foster! The rescue covers everything including all necessities, medical, etc. Rosie is a very mellow and simple 11yr old gal! She would do best as either only dog or with another very mellow dog(with very slow introductions). An elderly couple or a very mellow household would be perfect as she is very low energy. She is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in a car, loves to lounge but also LOVES short walks Rosie really is such an amazing dog and very low maintenance. She loves being with her people but she also likes being in her own space at times. She also does well with children 7+.
