Selena was rescued from a high-kill shelter, Contra Costa Animal Care, where her life was at risk. Today, she is safe—but what she truly needs now is a family of her own. Selena is about 4 years old and weighs around 80 lbs. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and is currently working with professional trainers while continuing her socialization with other dogs. She does best with proper introductions, and with time and patience, she continues to blossom. What truly makes Selena special is her deep love for people. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate—she just wants to be close to her humans and feel loved. Selena has been through so much, yet her heart remains open and full of love. She is patiently waiting for her forever home, a family who will see her for the amazing dog she is and give her the life she deserves.
