Jughead is truly striking, but it’s his sweetness that steals the show. He absolutely loves belly rubs and will soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. He’s still learning about the joys of being a puppy, and watching him discover toys has been a delight—he’ll carefully collect them and carry them back to his dog bed, like little treasures. Jughead is one of seven puppies born outdoors to an unfixed stray in Texas. He came into rescue having never been exposed to people, so he’ll need intentional socialization and gentle confidence-building as he grows. He’s a thoughtful, observant pup who takes the world in at his own pace, and with patience, love, and positive experiences, his personality continues to blossom. If you’re looking for a beautiful, tender-hearted puppy who will thrive with kindness and guidance, Jughead is ready to find his person Jughead is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 02/20/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
