Chopo is a 5-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix weighing approximately 88 pounds who is looking for the family he's been patiently waiting for. After spending 314 days in the shelter, he has become one of our Diamond Dogs, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $75. Friendly, social, and full of life, Chopo loves spending time with people and is always ready for attention or his next adventure. He is house trained, does well with female dogs, but is not compatible with male dogs. He has also surprisingly shown little interest in cats, making him a potential fit for a home with feline companions. A meet and greet is encouraged for homes with a resident female dog to ensure a good fit. Because of his size and playful nature, Chopo is best suited for a home with older children who can confidently interact with a large dog and understand appropriate play. Chopo is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and core boosters, and heartworm positive.
