Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Siberian Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Sakura is a beautiful, big-personality girl whoâs equal parts playful and affectionate. She loves meeting new people, soaking up attention, and showing off her fun side with games like tug and fetch. Sheâs great on walks (loose leash pro!) and enjoys running and zooming around the yard just as much as she enjoys curling up closeâsheâll happily nap on your chest after a day of fun. Sakura already knows basic commands like sit, down, and paw, and sleeps through the night. She does well with other dogs and has been sweet with kids, though she prefers affection on her own terms (no face-to-face hugs, please!). She has such a loving, goofy personality. If youâre looking for a fun, loyal companion with a little sass and a lot of love, Sakura is your girl! More photos/video of this love can be found online here: tinyurl/AdoptableSakura

Breed overview
Overview:
The Gerberian Shepsky is a hybrid of the German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky, emerging in North America as a modern companion with working-dog roots. Typically medium to large, they feature an athletic build, erect ears, and a dense double coat, often with striking blue or heterochromatic eyes. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and independence, making them affectionate yet occasionally headstrong. With very high energy, they thrive on daily exercise and structured training, suiting active families more than apartment living without ample outdoor time. Early socialization supports good manners with children and other pets. Notable health considerations include potential hip dysplasia and eye issues; regular vet care, weight management, and coat grooming help maintain well-being. Their typical lifespan ranges around 10–13 years, rewarding committed owners with a loyal, adventurous companion.
