Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE Mom is only 32 lbs. This puppy is expected to medium in size but that's only a guess. Great with all people, small kids and other animals. Came sick and starving. Healthy, happy and ready for a furever home. Preadoption applications can be filled out online at .luvnpupz/applications It takes up to 14 business days to process an application to adopt from the rescue not a specific dog as we strive to place the right dog in the right home based on each individuals needs and personalities. We are a home based foster rescue. We have meet and greet events for some available animals on the weekends. Please watch our facebook page ( facebook/luvnpupz ) for locations and which pups will be there. Adoption fees are $300 - It includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and spay/neuter at our vet when old enough.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
