One of his favorite things at the shelter is helping the volunteers prepare breakfast and evening meals for the other dogs. He happily stays close by, watching everything that's going on and making sure his human friends have a little extra help! He is the type of dog who wants to participate, be useful, and feel like part of the family. He is also an amazing walking buddy! Jacoby walks beautifully on a leash and loves getting outside for walks, adventures, and exploring the world with his favorite person. All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis.
