He was rescued from a kill shelter in South Korea, where his life was at risk — but today he’s safe and finally has the chance to find a family who will never let him go. At four years old, Bruno is in a wonderful stage of life — past the puppy chaos, but still full of energy and enthusiasm. He enjoys being outdoors, going on walks, and spending time with his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of the family, whether that’s adventures during the day or relaxing at your feet in the evening. ✨ Bruno is looking for a foster or forever home that will give him stability, structure, and unconditional love. With consistency and patience, he will be a devoted, affectionate best friend. Adoption Information Bruno’s adoption fee is $1,695, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts and save more dogs in need. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport to Seattle ✈️ A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption makes room for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Bruno the future he’s been waiting for.

Overview:

The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
