Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 250. PWRESCUE.ORG Tia is a 1.5yr, 50lb "scruffy" lab mix girl. She came to the rescue when no owners were found when she and her sister were found as young dogs in a remote area of the west valley. Tia is a strong, playful girl who really wants to please her person. She does need some basic training and does very well with a schedule/routine. She loves toys, balls, chews and someone to play with her. Since she does fairly well with her sister, she will enjoy another playful dog. Tia's youthful energy and willingness to play is as big as her wanting to please. She is treat motivated so will be great to train. While she has not been tested with cats, our advice is no cats. She will be good with dogs her size or dogs able to hold their own. Tam will benefit from obedience training and hopefully "force free" as she has a wonderful, trusting personality. Being a young lab mix girl, she will need regular exercise (walks, runs, more than just throwing a ball in the backyard). She'll make a great hiking buddy.
