Dog Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). Edna TX was found as a stray, ended up in an overcrowded shelter and was never reclaimed. A foster for NorthStar stepped up for her and brought her to safety. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
