He brings his own blend of affection, personality, and a little good-natured mischief to everyday life. Meeting adults is often an opportunity to make another friend. Bug may greet you with a sniff, a lick, and a lean—and if the petting stops too soon, he might offer a reminder. He takes his role as a snuggle buddy seriously. His foster describes him as mellow and easygoing, happiest in a calm home with a predictable routine. He enjoys being outside and having room to run, then settling into a more relaxed pace with his people. Bug doesn’t need a mountain of plush toys to be entertained. A filled bone is more his style. He’s also a smart fellow who enjoys training and already knows sit, stay, lie down, off, and “go to bed.” Mealtimes come with a familiar routine of sitting and waiting. Although his previous family described him as talkative, his foster finds him generally quiet.
