Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Shepherd / Mixed. Hi! My name is Britney. I am a sweet girl who was found with a Skin condition. I am being treated and may take time for me to heal. I like taking my daily walks and getting my wet food. I would love to have a bed to lay in. I like the scratches on my head and behind the ears. I do am selective with other dogs. I do fine with kids. I do fine with cats. I am such a sweetie, do you have the heart to take me in as one of yours? To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
