Lefty started life on the streets of San Antonio, was rescued, adopted, then surrendered and confirmed neglected by our vet. We welcomed him into our home in early 2026, and watched him blossom through months of love and guided training. It breaks our hearts, but our other dogs and Lefty just can’t share a home and he deserves to be someone’s whole world. Lefty is cuddly, loyal, and full of quirky charm. He’s totally relaxed with other dogs on walks and at the dog park, but has sleep startle — meaning he reacts if other dogs approach him while resting at home. He needs to be the only dog in the household. His perfect family is: Single-dog home where he’s the only dog so he can be the main star Active, fully committed owners Committed to continued leash & reactivity training Big on cuddles because that’s where Lefty thrives. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States.
