If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be your little sidekick, Iris may be the perfect match. Iris is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being close to her people. Whether she’s following you from room to room, curling up beside you while you relax, or simply keeping you company throughout the day, Iris seems happiest when she’s near those she loves. Like any young puppy, Iris is curious about the world around her and eager to explore. She’s playful, learning new things every day, and discovering all the fun that puppyhood has to offer. She approaches life with a sweet nature and a desire to be included in whatever is happening around her. Since arriving in foster care, Iris has been adjusting well to family life and continuing to build her confidence. She enjoys companionship and is quickly learning the routines and expectations that come with being part of a home. Iris and her littermates got an unusual start to life. They were found living beneath a shed in rural Texas, where their devoted mama did everything she could to keep them safe. Thankfully, a caring local family stepped in to help, giving the puppies a safe place to grow until they were ready to begin their journey to brighter futures. Like all puppies, Iris will need continued training, socialization, structure, patience, and love as she grows. In return, you’ll get the joy of watching her personality blossom and the opportunity to build an incredible bond with a puppy who already loves being part of a family. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
