VESPA - AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER / BULL TERRIER DOG FOR ADOPTION

American Pit Bull Terrier Dogs For Adoption in Hillsboro, NH, USA

For Adoption

Description

Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Bull Terrier. Adoption Fee: 250. Beloved Princess Vespa is searching for a new kingdom — preferably one with loving, active humans who understand that royalty deserves both affection and prompt meal service. She is about 6 years old and is a gorgeous white American Bulldog mix with one striking blue eye that stops people in their tracks. Seriously, she gets compliments everywhere she goes and handles the attention like the celebrity she believes she is. This princess knows her commands, loves a good snuggle, and is perfectly content entertaining herself with nylon bones and tasty treats. She rarely barks, though she does occasionally sing the song of her people if dinner preparation is taking longer than acceptable royal standards. Vespa walks beautifully on leash, loves car rides, and is happiest when she’s close to her humans. She thrives with structure, exercise, and a calm environment where she can soak up love and attention like the queen she was born to be. Now, every royal has boundaries. Vespa prefers to rule her castle as the only dog and, due to her jealous nature, would do best in a home without children. In return, she promises fierce loyalty, endless companionship, and enthusiastic greetings every time you walk through the door — personal space not guaranteed. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick with beauty, personality, and just the right amount of diva energy, Princess Vespa may be your perfect match. Apply on our web site: 4theloveofdog/adopt.html

A.K.A.: Pit Bull, APBT, AmStaff, American Staffordshire Terrier, Stafford, Staffy, Pibble, Pittie, Bully, Bull breed, Working Pit, Colby Pit, Old Family Dog, Old Family Red Nose, Red Nose Pit, Blue Nose Pit, Game Dog, Fighting Dog, Gladiator Dog, Nanny Dog, American Bull Dog, Bull and Terrier, Half-and-Half, Yankee Terrier, Irish Pit Bull, English Pit Bull
Overview:

The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a robust and intelligent breed, originating in the United States from crossbreeding Old English Terriers and Old English Bulldogs for dog-fighting purposes. Physically, they are medium-sized, known for their muscular build, broad heads, and powerful jaws, typically weighing between 30-60 pounds. Their coats are short and come in a wide array of colors. Temperamentally, a well-socialized APBT is often described as loyal, affectionate, and people-oriented, displaying a playful and sometimes clownish demeanor. They can be excellent family companions, provided they receive consistent training and early socialization, though their high energy levels mean they thrive with active owners. While they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise, a house with a secure yard is often preferred. Notable health considerations include a predisposition to hip and elbow dysplasia, allergies, and certain heart conditions.
