*MADISON - Mutt Female Dog For Adoption in Camarillo, California, USA

Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat).

Madison came to us as a stray in May after she was found running around and a few kind folks stopped to pick her up. She initially was shy and a little timid, but from the beginning she enjoyed being pet and resting her chin on the intake officer's leg. Madison continues to be sweet with people and will lean up against you for petting and treats. She loves to chew on bully sticks, and go for offsite trips with volunteers to get away from the stress of the shelter. She has been easy to walk outside of the shelter for such a big girl! While he has met other dogs during her time with us, she has been a bit stressed around them. While she may be open to a doggie sibling one day, we would recommend some time separate from other animals to decompress, followed by very gradual integration with other pets for best chance of success!
