Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever (medium coat). You don't have to travel around the globe to meet THIS exquisite creature...I am Okapi, and I am actually a dog, though I am just as beautiful and unique as my namesake. I'm a younger guy but already building on my nice manners. I've been polite on a leash away from my kennel, and I enjoy going for a stroll at your side or chasing after a tennis ball. I've also been in many playgroups and don't mind spending time with other dogs. My favorite activity is using my nose, so every walk becomes a `sniffari,` as my volunteer friends say, and I love to explore the world one scent at a time. I'm a gentle-natured boy who would make a delightful companion to spend time with. Let's meet today!

Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial.
