Despite his love of companionship, he is well-mannered when left home alone and has never been destructive. He is fully housebroken and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for adventures. Chewy loves toys of all kinds and is often seen proudly carrying one around in his mouth. He enjoys games of tug and fetch—when he decides to give the toy back! Unlike many dogs, Chewy is gentle with his toys and rarely chews them up, so they tend to last a long time. He gets along well with other dogs and the children he has met. While he hasn’t lived directly with cats, he has shown curiosity about them. Chewy is a flexible dog who could thrive in an active home or a quieter home where his people are around often.
