____________________________________________________________ Coordinator: Carol Aulick Meet Nitro ~ A Young Pup Ready to Light that Fire in your Heart True to his name, Nitro is an energetic puppy full of heart and unlimited potential. He is the total package. Nitro is absolutely stunning. His striking good looks, expressive face, and athletic build turn heads wherever he goes. But it's his affectionate nature, loyal heart, and genuine desire to connect with his people that make him truly special. At under a year old, this incredibly handsome Belgian Malinois is everything you could hope for in a young dog. Friendly with people, social with other dogs, and deeply devoted to his person, Nitro is the kind of companion who wants to be part of everything you do. Still very much a puppy, Nitro is a happy guy who approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. Not unusual for his breed, Nitro shows his excitement with playful “clacking”. Whether he's chasing a ball, proudly carrying around his favorite Kong toy, or transforming an ordinary plastic water bottle into the greatest treasure on earth, Nitro knows how to make every day an adventure. Nitro is also a smart young dog with an excellent foundation already in place. He: Walks nicely on leash Knows sit and down Is house-trained Is crate-trained Is highly food-motivated and eager to learn Does well at daycare With his intelligence, work ethic, and love of rewards, Nitro is the perfect age to continue building skills and deepening the bond with his future family. Nitro is expected to remain on the smaller side for a male Belgian Malinois, making him a wonderful choice for someone looking for all the incredible qualities of the breed in a slightly more compact package. One story that perfectly captures Nitro's confidence and adventurous nature happened during his very first boat ride. While many dogs might hesitate in a brand-new environment, Nitro hopped aboard like he'd been doing it his entire life and loved every minute of the experience. His willingness to embrace new adventures suggests he'll be an enthusiastic partner wherever life takes you—whether that's hiking trails, training fields, road trips, or simply spending time together. Nitro is currently located in Ohio and is searching for a family that appreciates the intelligence, athleticism, and loyalty that make Belgian Malinois such extraordinary dogs. And willing to put in the time and effort to channel that brilliance and drive towards good. He is a young dog with enormous potential, ready for someone willing to invest in his future and enjoy the incredible journey of watching him grow. If you're looking for a devoted companion, a training partner, an adventure buddy, and a best friend all wrapped into one handsome package, don’t miss out on this opportunity to adopt Nitro.
