Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (short coat). Location: Wilmington, DE Gracie is an 8 week old female red heeler mix born late April. She currently weighs around 7 lbs. and is a sweet little squirt. She is medium energy and is very social with our multiple resident dogs. She loves affection and shadows the younger pups everywhere they go. She fit in immediately. She would benefit having a companion buddy. She is current on all age appropriate vaccinations and will start flea and tick preventatives shortly given her age. She has a kind gentle nature. She has also been microchipped. She will be available for adoption in 2-3 weeks and is being fostered in Wilmington, Delaware. She will be adopted with a spay contract and needs to be spayed at six months. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
