Description
Dog Breed: Boxer (short coat). Adoption Fee: $427.50 includes all applicable MN sales tax. This little girl's family moved and instead of taking her with them, she was surrendered to a local vet clinic. We were contacted to help her and how could we say no?!? Lovebug is approximately 10 weeks old and has had her first round of puppy vetting. She arrived at her foster home on 6/28 and she very quickly won everyone's hearts. She is super smart, not afraid of anything and full of puppy energy! She does great in the crate overnight and loves to spend her day playing with everyone and everything....she LOVES toys. We are working on getting her in for her second round of puppy vetting then she will be ready to find her furver home. ***Lovebug's adoption contract will include a spay & third round of puppy vetting contract. The rescue covers the cost***

Overview:
The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired dog breed of German origin, known for its distinctive appearance and vibrant personality. Physically, Boxers possess a strong, athletic build with a characteristic square head, an undershot jaw, and often a docked tail and cropped ears (though these practices are becoming less common). Their short, glossy coat typically comes in fawn or brindle, often with white markings. Temperamentally, Boxers are renowned for being incredibly loyal, intelligent, and energetic, making them fantastic companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and can be playful and patient with children, making them excellent family pets. While their energy levels require regular exercise, their adaptability means they can adjust to apartment living if their activity needs are consistently met. However, potential owners should be aware of certain health considerations, including a predisposition to some cancers, heart conditions like cardiomyopathy, and hip dysplasia, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups.
