Dog Breed: Hound / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. A FUN & PLAYFUL GUY: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 53 lbs. Hello, I’m Isaac! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control when I was about 7 months old, and I was adopted and spent over a year in a home. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be the right long-term fit, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for my perfect match. I’ve discovered that I thrive with plenty of exercise, structure, and guidance, and I’m hoping to find a family that will enjoy an active lifestyle with me. Could that be you? Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them and my former owner also reported that I liked the dogs I met while I was with them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / My former family reported that I liked the kids I met while I was with them, though I don’t recall their ages, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may accidentally bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, playful, and very active guy who’s as handsome as they come! I’m a strong boy with a big personality, an affectionate heart, and a happy spirit that’s impossible to hide. I love people, have lots of fun energy, and yes—I can jump pretty high! I’m definitely a lot of dog, so I’m looking for a family that will provide plenty of exercise, structure, and guidance to help me be my very best. My former owner shared that I could be destructive in the home, so keeping my mind and body busy with appropriate activities will help me succeed. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who’s ready for adventure and eager to share his joy with you, I just might be your perfect match! / My energy level is 6-8, so let’s be active together. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I have mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, ‘place’, and ‘down’ commands as well as accept friendly strangers without jumping and utilize proper door etiquette. I love treats which makes training super fun and delicious! Let’s continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and my former owner also reported that I was crate trained. In the prison/foster training program, I enjoy sleeping outside of my crate. / My former owner reported that I was potty trained, though I’m having some accidents since returning to Mostly Mutts. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to have fun with people and enjoy lots of toys. The stuffed ones are some of my favorites —and I sometimes prefer to take the stuffing out of them (LOL)! I enjoy playing, especially tug-of-war, but I am equally fond of giving and receiving affection. I’m also naturally curious and enjoy exploring with my family. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a busy, fun dog looking for a family that will be active with me and will continue my training. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
