Description

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Sandwich (AKA Sammy) is adjusting quite well since arriving. She has a lot of energy that she likes to burn off running around the yard and going for walks. She does pretty well on a leash but will pull once in a while but she’s working on it! She is pretty much potty trained as she only had one “oops” her first day here. Sandwich has a little bit of nervous energy when she comes inside from running around but has found she really likes relaxing in “her” recliner! She has a doggy foster brother that she enjoys play time wrestling and chasing with. She also met the neighborhood kitty and was completely indifferent about him! She does well in her kennel at night but prefers to sleep with a human :) She is not the biggest fan of being in the car and will sometimes get a little carsick. Being still a puppy, she is working very hard on her manners every day and really loves her rewards (treats and pets). Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, dental, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
