Found wandering along the road on 7/14, Doritos made a wonderful first impression with his finders—he was calm and easygoing in the car and incredibly gentle with their child, even giving them a little lick on the hand. The shelter has been a stressful place for Doritos, and when he feels overwhelmed or pressured, he may growl—especially when being asked to leave his kennel. But his kennel behavior isn't the whole story. With other dogs, he starts off cautious but can greet appropriately and settle in as he gains confidence.
