Description
Dog Breed: Cairn Terrier / Norfolk Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 100. Meet Jimi! Jimi is an 8-year-old Terrier mix weighing in at the perfect 23–24 pounds. With his adorable scruffy face and soulful eyes, he’s the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. Jimi isn’t the type to make friends with everyone right away. New people can be scary for him, and he needs a few days to learn that he’s safe. He isn’t looking for someone to “fix” him—he’s simply looking for someone patient enough to let him come around on his own terms. And when he does… it’s something truly special. Once Jimi trusts you, he becomes your loyal little shadow, happily following you from room to room, curling up nearby while you relax, and loving you with his whole heart. The bond you build with him is one that’s earned, making it all the more rewarding. Jimi gets along well with other dogs, but he would be happiest as the only dog in the home where he doesn’t have to share your attention. He would thrive in a calm, quiet household with a predictable routine and not a lot of new people coming and going. His adoption fee is $100 and he is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. To meet him text 602-908-6215.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Cairn-Norfolk Terrier, an engaging hybrid of the Cairn Terrier and Norfolk Terrier, originates from a desire to blend the best qualities of these beloved British terriers. Physically, they are small to medium-sized dogs, typically weighing between 10-18 pounds, with a sturdy build and a shaggy, wiry coat that comes in a variety of colors, often requiring regular grooming. Their temperament is a delightful mix of both parents: they are generally affectionate, spirited, and intelligent, with a playful streak that makes them excellent companions. Their moderate energy levels mean they adapt well to both family life and apartment living, provided they receive daily exercise and mental stimulation. They are usually good with children and other pets when properly socialized. As with all breeds, potential health considerations include issues common to their parent breeds, such as patellar luxation, eye conditions, and certain skin allergies, so reputable breeding and regular vet check-ups are important for a long, happy life.
