Bongo - Mutt Male Dog For Adoption in Shelburne, Vermont, USA

Dog Breed: Unknown breed.

IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT Meet Bongo! More pictures and video below or to come! Bongo is 3 years old, male (approx. DOB 4-20-24), 60 lbs., vetted, and is or will be neutered! Looking for an easygoing best friend with a goofy personality? In his current dynamic, Bongo might be your perfect match! Bongo is the total package! He is great in the car, dog-tested, kid-tested, and cat-tested. He is fully house-trained and will sleep silently in his crate all night long. His favorite hobby is giving kisses to his foster cat siblings, and he’ll happily spend his day loving on everyone he meets. This sweet boy does have one learning curve: slippery hardwood floors. Give this king a carpet or rug, and he’ll confidently follow you from room to room like your loyal shadow. Bongo enjoys playing with toys and following his foster siblings around, but if given the choice, he’d much rather claim a comfy spot on the couch and nap the day away. When you first meet him, he may seem a little shy or reserved, but don’t let that fool you. With a little patience, love, and reassurance, Bongo’s happy, silly personality shines through, and you’ll quickly discover what a special dog he is. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will fill your home with laughter, kisses, and unconditional love. Stay tuned for more information as Bongo is a new rescue! Please note that fosters have 1st option for adoption. Check out his Facebook Profile and like us while you are there! Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
