Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Jake! Jake is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix weighing approximately 67 pounds who is looking for a patient, loving forever home after his family was no longer able to keep him due to a move. While he can be shy and timid when meeting new people, Jake is a gentle, sweet dog who blossoms with time, consistency, and kindness. He would do best with a calm family willing to help build his confidence and is not recommended for homes with children under 10 years old. A well-mannered resident dog could help him adjust, and any current dogs should meet him prior to adoption. Jake's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies vaccination, booster to date, and heartworm negative. Because he is living in a foster home, an approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
